The Clingy Mom
Being away from her child for three whole days has been pure torture! The clingy mom is all over her kids, practically smothering them with affection. Someone will need to physically drag her away so they can finish out the rest of the week.

The Competitive Mom
She cares about everything a little too much. The competitive mom refuses to give props to any other kid but her own. She takes the friendly three-legged race to the next level by screaming at the top of her lungs.

What do you mean the nearest Starbucks is an hour away? The city slicker mom is absolutely appalled that she has to endure the great outdoors. She'll do it for her kids, but she will be completely out of place!

The Go-With-the-Flow Mom
"It is what it is," might just be her favorite phrase. Followed by, "Let the kids be their own person," "Be one with nature," and "Let it go." The go-with-the-flow mom is happy to go with the messy flow of a camp day, and really connects with nature while visiting her kid.

The Hot Mess Mom
While you probably have been in her place at one point or another, this mom admits she's a hot mess — and she totally owns it. She doesn't claim to be organized, on time, or even showered. It's kind of great.

The Loner Mom
This mom keeps to herself and avoids conversations with everyone — except her kid, of course. She sits far away from everyone and isn't really down to gossip about the counselors. But, she's content on her own — she's just here to hang with her youngster, anyways.

The Full-of-Complaints Mom
Maybe she came to camp all by herself (because she's single or her significant other is just working all the time), maybe she hit every bit of traffic on her way up, maybe she forgot to pack her preferred hiking pants — this mom always has something to complain about. Sometimes you sympathize (traffic was bad) and sometimes you just want her to take a page out of the go-with-the-flow mom's book.

The Workaholic Mom
If her business attire doesn't give her away, her constant references to her job definitely will. The workaholic mom shows up, but spends the whole time answering emails and taking conference calls. Her phone never seems to stop pinging . . . even though cell service is spotty.

The PTA Mom
She's volunteering to help out in every way possible, but don't make eye contact, because the PTA mom will drag you right in. Even though it's summer break, she's probably taken over coordinating camp activities for the parents — or even recruiting for next year's board. Though she does know everyone in the room and everything that's going on.

She leads an entire pack of Girl Scouts, so you better believe she's prepared. If you need a first-aid kit, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, or a granola bar, you know where to go! And of course, she checked the weather, packed a spare flashlight, and brought extra change for the vending machines.
